*IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT* The Arizona Department of Insurance and Financial Institutions and Prometric are pleased to announce the availability of the Arizona Insurance exams via Remotely Proctored testing using Prometric’s ProProctor™ application. For more information, please click here - ProProctor Candidate Information | Prometric

Starting on Monday, January 23rd, candidates will be directed to a new Registration and Scheduling page within Prometric’s Candidate Management System.

New candidates will now need to create a new profile before scheduling their exam. Candidates who have previously tested with Prometric, will receive a Welcome email between January 20th – January 22nd, which will contain a link for you to create your account. You MUST use this link to create your account. Your account will be linked to your Profile, and you will be able to see your testing history. If you have already passed your exam and have applied for your license, you do NOT need to re-take your examination.

Every candidate will need to create a new account, but those with existing profiles will need to use the welcome email as a starting point. If a candidate creates a new profile without using that link, a duplicate profile will be created and could result in scheduling challenges.

Rest assured that the process for scheduling an appointment will remain the same but will be on the new system.

Should you have any questions, please contact Candidate Cares @ 1-800-868-6113.

Effective Immediately: The Arizona Department of Public Safety has changed the fingerprinting process for DIFI fingerprint submissions. Navigate to the website: https://difi.az.gov/finger-printfor information on the correct process to submit your fingerprints.

Here are the basic steps to get you ready for your Arizona Insurance Exam.

1. Create or Login to Your Account

Please ensure when creating your profile that you provide Prometric with the correct DOB and SSN. If you fail to provide accurate information, this will result in you being unable to apply for your license after you have passed your examination(s). Should a demographic update be required after you have scheduled or taken your exam, please contact Prometric directly for handling.

Before scheduling your test, please create an account or log into your existing account.

2. Schedule Your Test

Once you are set up and logged into your account, you can schedule your test.
